"I am a huge music fan, and after hearing the stellar (and still favourite) ‘Make You Wait’ last year, I became a huge fan of Paulcasts. After one too many conversations about music, and a realization of a shared taste in tunes, we decided to make a collaborative mash-up. I was really excited to combine Paul’s vast experience in mixing, talent, and encyclopaedic knowledge of music, with my... well... my enthusiasm. We both put on our thinking caps, and Paul took it from there.

In the spirit of Paulcasts, we filled this mix with fun music. Artists with songs that were about good times, like Beastie Boys, Avalanches, Daft Punk, Notorious, The Strokes, Matt & Kim, Bjork, Kanye, Nelly Furtado, Michael Jackson, k-os, and yes, Bobby Brown and Fine Young Cannibals. Songs that “make the sun shine when it’s cloudy and gray”, so we figured the title fit.

I'm on a Baltimore Club kick. There has been an element of B'More style in most of my mixes over the last couple of years, but only recently I decided to dedicate a whole mix to the sound.
